Welcome to Rocking Chair Fuel. Our travel stories and experiences, with a backdrop of stunning photography. We are Jackie and Clark, a UK couple who have decided to take a year off from the corporate world. Is it permanent? Honestly we don’t know, but we do know that life is short and there is a lot more we want to explore and experience.
We love to travel and tell stories. Since our first ever holiday together to Thailand in 1997, whenever we can, we have travelled. We have visited over 40 countries, lived in 4, and are now going to take a year out and just see what opportunities present themselves.
Why “Rocking Chair Fuel”?
We’re big believers that you see the most when you’re on foot. So wherever we are, we get out there and explore our local environs. Be it hiking in the countryside or a pleasant stroll around a town. An explore from the door.

Our lifestyle choices and plans are a little unusual and over the last year have changed rather dramatically. One thing that has become apparent from our travels and our life is that we love food. I’m not just talking a like of eating, we actually get excited about our meals, whether in a restaurant or creating at home.
